The Kelvingrove Bandstand November 2012 & August 2015.
I took the above two pictures, nearly three years apart. I like how it’s turned out. Plus, seeing and hearing Teenage Fanclub play ‘Did I Say’ here was a joy to behold.
City of Glasgow by Air – Aerial Demo Vol. 4 (by Aerial Focus)
My girlfriend h–na discovered this video while watching videos on the Apple TV, and she considered it interesting enough to play it again for me. I was happy she did. 🙂
Nice aerial view of Glasgow, although mostly the area right next to the river Clyde. Quite some recognisable sights — albeit a from an unusual perspective — and you can even catch a glimpse of the Euro Hostels building, where we’ll be staying during our next trip!
Waiting for a bus so here’s a wee pic I just took of the Clyde Clock, it is an odd specimen; a stainless steel statue of a running pair of legs, with a cube clock as a body. Aptly positioned outside Buchanan Bus Station, it was created by Glasgow artist George Wyllie.
One of the last things I see of Glasgow each time I leave the city, since the curtains on the Megabus sleeper back to London, are usually shut by the time I get on…
