We only had a couple of hours on our first day in London, but we managed to squeeze in a fish meal at Hook Camden, a visit to BrewDog Camden — with some familiar Glaswegian faces — and a last drink at a pub near our hotel, The Queen’s Head, with live piano music.
Off to Scotland again! By train this time, and an overnight stop in London.
It will be an epic week, with visits planned to nine different BrewDog bars and basements, the brewery and of course the #PunkAGM2016!

I know I said I was only going to post the one thing about Burns but I couldn’t resist this portrait of Burns that is literally good enough to eat! Using items from Toby Carvery’s new breakfast menu – including Scottish Lorne sausage and tattie scones.
Today I’m on a fast day, so by now I’m quite hungry and already looking forward to breakfast. A Burns Breakfast like this would be great, but just some bacon and eggs will have to do…
