Praha – 2. den

Second day: Museum of Prague City, coffee at EMA Espresso Bar, leisurely strolling in the city centre, and a visit to the Apple museum. Some beers as well of course, at BeerGeek, although there didn’t seem to be a lot of Czech people there…

Praha – 1. den

As usual, we spent part of the first day on a tour bus. Halfway we got out to visit Prague Castle, which β€” not surprisingly, considering it’s one of the largest castles of Europe β€” took us a good part of the day.

KΓΆln Trip

It seems I somehow never posted anything about my KΓΆln trip. So when I found out about this a couple of years later, I decided to delve into my photo archive, and publish at least a couple of photos of that trip!

Most of my trips revolve around craft beer, or at least include some beer bars or breweries. KΓΆln is a bit different: very traditional, and the city only had one craft beer bar when we visited… What the city did have, and stil has, is KΓΆlsch! So of course, on the evening of our arrival, we went to one of the best places to drink it: Brauhaus PΓ€ffgen!

The second day we started in the Wallraf-Richartz Museum⁩.

After Himmel un Γ„d for lunch at Peters Brauhaus, and a visit to the RΓΆmisch-Germanisches Museum (no photos), we visited the only craft beer bar in KΓΆln: Crafbeer Corner Coeln.
We enjoyed dinnerβ€”Kotelett mit Kartoffelsalatβ€”at Lommerzheim.

On the last day, we had some Currywurst for lunch, and after some more sightseeing, a beer at the Gaffel am Dom. We ended our trip with some Bratwurst mit Kartoffelsalat at Max Stark.

Cardiff – Day 4

Our last full day in Cardiff started in museums again. First we visited the National Museum, then β€” after coffee at Uncommon Ground β€” The Cardiff Story. In the afternoon we finally made it to the Tiny Rebel bar, and the weather even allowed us to sit on the terrace! Our last dinner was at the Cosy Club, where it was a whole lot quieter than last time we tried to get in.

Cardiff – Day 3

After breakfast at Servini’s, we spent a drizzly Saturday morning at St Fagans National History Museum. An American lunch at The New York Deli and a coffee at Outpost Coffee & Vinyl were to prepare us for the main event of the day: a visit to the Tiny Rebel brewery!
