And off we go! Since I try to avoid flying within Europe, I’ll be spending the next 20 hours on buses and ferries. Luckily there will be a three hour gap between buses in London in the morning, giving me some time to enjoy a full English breakfast!

I added these photos to the blog in 2020, so eight years after the trip—but they have been online already on the previous version of this site—so apart from the notes (in Dutch) I have added to the photos themselves, I don’t have much additional information.
I travelled there by MegaBus, at the time still leaving from Brussels, and without the comfort of MegaBus Gold. So day one, early arrival in a city I’ve never been, but with a long Foursquare list on my phone…
