So, did anyone try the Ultimate Burger Challenge at The City Cafe in Edinburgh? Seems to be quite a challenge indeed, considering the limited time… Does anyone have a photo of this burger so I can see the actual size of this monster?

When I was in Glasgow in September, I had a burger at Burger Meats Bun, a place that opened just a short while before. Being used to Belgian chips, I wasn’t impressed by the Thai Chili Cheese chips: way too soggy for my taste. But the burger was great! In fact, it was the best burger I ever had, to this date.
Apparently I’m not the only one who thinks so: this week the readers of the Scottish burger blog James vs. Burger elected BMB as the place where one can find Glasgow’s Best Burger.
I hope they will still have some room for me during my next visit to Glasgow…
My last day in Glasgow I did a final -failed – attempt to find a nice kilt jacket, a last visit to the BrewDog bar to do some essential shopping. Not quite recovered yet from the ceilidh of the night before, I decided to skip the one of Saturday night, and join my new Glaswegian friends on a little pub crawl instead. And for once, I wasn’t the only one wearing a kilt! 🙂
