And we’re ready for take-off, or whatever it is called when a bus leaves. Luckily the power sockets in this MegaBus are working, so I don’t have to worry about running out of power before even reaching the UK.
The coach is only half full, but for whatever reason, some passengers insisted on occupying the the seats next to me on the front row. Oh well, they’re quite tiny, so I don’t mind much, as long as they don’t want to take over the power socket.
Only a couple waking hours left before my departure, so I started packing already. Since no Scotland trip would be complete without my kilt, it needs to be packed too, preferably protected from wrinkling. The best way to do that — in my experience — is in a kilt roll.
Now let’s hope I haven’t forgotten anything…
Soon…
Less than a month to go, and I’ll be on my way to Scotland again! This will be my fourth visit to Scotland, my second visit to Edinburgh.
All my previous Scotland trips I was travelling solo, but this time I’ll be part of a small group of history students of the VUB. I’ll be the only one travelling by bus however, so I’ll have half a day to myself before they arrive, and again after they leave.
Let’s see if I can convert some of my travel companions to the kilt! 😉 Or at least get them to join me at a ceilidh…
