Cardiff – Day 4

Our last full day in Cardiff started in museums again. First we visited the National Museum, then β€” after coffee at Uncommon Ground β€” The Cardiff Story. In the afternoon we finally made it to the Tiny Rebel bar, and the weather even allowed us to sit on the terrace! Our last dinner was at the Cosy Club, where it was a whole lot quieter than last time we tried to get in.

Cardiff – Day 3

After breakfast at Servini’s, we spent a drizzly Saturday morning at St Fagans National History Museum. An American lunch at The New York Deli and a coffee at Outpost Coffee & Vinyl were to prepare us for the main event of the day: a visit to the Tiny Rebel brewery!

Cardiff – Day 2, the evening

After dinner at the Grazing Shed β€” we learned from yesterday ?β€” we had some more beers at The City Arms β€” a bit old fashioned, but a nice selection of beers anyway β€” Zerodegrees β€” big, loud and only average beers β€” and smallBAR β€” definitely need to go back to try some other beers on the menu!

Cardiff – Day 2 continued

In the Castle Arcade we quickly found what we were looking for: Madame Fromage, for a Welsh rarebit and some cheese soup.
After lunch we visited the best known landmark of the city, often used as a filming location: Cardiff Castle.
To conclude the afternoon, we went to BrewDog Cardiff again.

Cardiff – Day 2

Our second day started β€” after a light breakfast and coffee at KIN + ILK β€” at the Doctor Who Experience. After this summer it will close its doors permanently, so it was our last chance to visit. It’s a pity cause it’s a kind of β€œMecca” for Doctor Who fans. Thereafter we went on the Official Filming Locations tour around Cardiff Bay. For lunch we headed to the Castle Arcade.
