Wickerman

castlefest:

This year, the Wickerman will not be a mythical representation, but a image that symbolizes love. Love for nature, love for each other and love for yourself. Love. Caring for each other. Together, through love, try to make the world a better place.

Although strictly speaking not Scottish or Celtic, kilts seem to be quite popular at Castlefest anyway, both with performers and public. Needless to say what I will wear then…

New Retro Game Cafe to open in Glasgow

MEGAbytes brings retro games to Glasgow

MEGAbytes are currently pulling up old carpet, painting the walls and then giving up and playing some good ole Street Fighter when the going gets tough.

Soon to be moving into their premises on 169 Howard Street (near to Slaters) MEGAbytes will be a haven for nerdy gamers – and nerdy gamers who like a cuppa, some grub and a place to chill.

Retro games? We had to go to a museum for that when we were in Edinburgh! I guess I’ll have to add that to our to-do list, right h–na?
