Apparently the MegaBus Gold coach broke down, and has been replaced by what seems to be the oldest vehicle in the fleet… So no luxurious seats, no private berths, no WiFi, and not even power outlets for the passengers. And I was really looking forward to use the sleeper service for the first time!
That’ll be a call to customer services in the morning for a refund…
Update: After a short Twitter exchange, they promptly refunded me the MegaBus – MegaBus Gold price difference, so no complaints there.
Finally on British soil, with a two hour delay thanks to Eurotunnel. I’m afraid I’ll have to skip dinner in London then…
The next photo – the one I’m using as my profile picture here on Tumblr – was taken during my first visit to Scotland, to Edinburgh. I didn’t wear my kilt as consistently as I do now when I visit Scotland, but I did wear it on the day I went hunting for a nice kilt jacket – successfully, as you can see. On the same day I visited nearby Craigmillar Castle, the perfect setting for some photos.
