Oh, how I miss a decent Scotch pie here in Brussels centre… When will Jack O’Shea finally start baking them in their Saint-Catherine shop?
So, after haggis for breakfast this morning, we had haggis for dinner this evening. I decided to try a recipe for haggis popcorn I found at Breakfast at Julie’s. I must say: the result was great!
Okay, some balls burst open, but overall, they looked and tasted really nice. Actually even better than the haggis popcorn at Burger Meats Bun! 😉
Next recipe to try: haggis pakora! 🙂
Or the breakfast for those who defrosted too much haggis for the haggis popcorn planned for dinner… 🙂 And yes, that is the infamous ‘brown sauce’, although a fruity version of it.
Well, it was nice anyway, but next time I’ll add some mushrooms, bacon and a sausage.
